From time to time I like to pursue various projects that, well, kind of consume my soul for a short period of time. Jen says I'm a focussed and relentless self-motivator, then mumbles under her breath something about obsessive compulsiveness... But there's no time to dwell on what Jen thinks -there're projects afoot!
NEW HOUSE AND BOOKSHELF BUILDING 2007: My first house project in my first house! Finally, I get to build stuff with power tools! Check out the new pad and my super-duper bookshelf project.
GHOST TOWNS OF THE OLD NIPISSING ROAD: Squint into the greyscale and see if you can see any ghosts! This project combines my fascination with ghost towns and aerial photography. There are several 1920s air photographs available for perusal or download.
B.Ed. Wars Movie: Alex matches wits with The Evil Lord Waller, his computer and technology professor. The movie was an assignment meant to convey how one's attitude towards technology might have changed over the course of the class....
IGLOO CONSTRUCTION 2005: Alex and Mike attempt to make a shelter out of nothing more than frozen water on their four acre bush lot. Using nothing more than a two blunt cutting implements, their wits and Mike's memories of a survivalist TV show they begin the project....
SHED BUILDING 2004: Jen and Alex put their brains and brawn to the test in this vernacular building endeavour. Using all-natural materials gleaned from 25 acres of quasi-wilderness, they attempt to build an environmentally friendly wood shed on Jen's parents' rural property....
FUNNY THROUGH ATTRITION: This is my budding cartoon series. The drawings are a bit primitive in places, but the content is mildly amusing at least. What am I talking about, it's downright hillarious! You'd be wasting your time not looking at these cartoons!
